Testing out the CS6MX for the first time!

First 'proper' time out with this detector, on my brand new permission!

Here is the conclusion:

  1. At 6:34 on the video of the 6MX, the "perfect rectangle" find is a piece is spacing that would be used to separate words whilst composing type for a newspaper or magazine. A compositor would have used such a piece along with various other thicknesses to justify each line. The notch along the bottom forms the two "feet" which is how the piece would sit within the line.
